On July 6th, 2024, our lives changed forever.
My wife, Insha Akhtar, and I were blessed with the arrival of our baby boy, Muhammad Umar Malik, and with him came a joy we’ve never known before. The moment we held him in our arms, we knew that our world had expanded in ways we could never have imagined.
Becoming parents is a journey filled with excitement, anticipation, and a little bit of nervousness. The moment we found out that we were expecting, our hearts were filled with love and hope for the future. We spent months preparing, reading, and dreaming about the day we would finally meet our little one. And now that he’s here, we realize that nothing could have truly prepared us for the overwhelming love we feel.
Our baby boy is healthy and already showing signs of a strong personality. Every little smile, every tiny yawn, fills our hearts with immeasurable joy. Watching him sleep peacefully, we can’t help but dream about the future and all the adventures we’ll have together as a family.
This new chapter in our lives is just beginning, and we’re excited to embrace every moment of it. We know that the journey of parenthood will be filled with its own set of challenges, but with love and support from each other, we’re ready to take it on. Our son is a precious gift, and we are committed to raising him with all the love, care, and guidance he needs.

Mummy (Rana Tabassum): She is Insha's mother, and words cannot express how much she has done for Insha, for me, and for our baby boy, Muhammad Umar Malik.
Anam Akhtar: Insha’s elder sister, who loves Umar like a mother. She is more like his second mom, showering him with all the motherly affection.
Ariba Akhtar and Ahila Akhtar: Insha’s younger sisters, who adore Umar and shower him with so much love.
Shameem Akhtar: Umar’s Nana, who might not always show it, but I know he loves Umar and all of us deeply.
To all our family, friends, and well-wishers, thank you for your support and love during this special time in our lives. We are thrilled to share this joy with you, and we look forward to introducing our little one to you all.
